Keto Coffee Frappe Recipe

I’ve got a recipe for you today that’s perfect as a pre-workout or before training. – or you just want a healthy snack that tastes like an indulgent treat!

This one doesn’t disappoint!

It features coffee … cinnamon, spice,  … and COLLAGEN! (Plus it also dairy-free)

It’s a froufrou drink that’s actually good for you. The collagen and gelatin help keep your joints happy. Note: because it contains caffeine, you’ll want to have this earlier in the day vs. later.

Coffeehouse blended concoctions are tasty and tempting. Unfortunately, these are expensive and loaded with empty calories that make your blood sugar spike and then crash this is a must-try. 

Here is a tasty alternative that is both keto and budget-friendly.

Keto Coffee Frappe Recipe

8 ounces of cooled coffee
1 1/2 tsp Collagen
1 1/2 tsp Gelatin
½ tbsp raw cacao powder
1/8 tsp Vitamin C crystals (helps with collagen synthesis)
Dash of Stevia (optional)
Pinch of Cinnamin 
Dash Cayenne Pepper (avoid if drinking before a long training session)
1 cup of ice cubes

Optional: add the collagen and gelatin to the hot coffee before it cools.

Next – Place all the ingredients except the ice cubes in a blender, and blend until smooth. Taste and adjust the amount of cinnamon or cacao powder to suit your taste.

Pour into a tall glass, over optional ice and enjoy!

Pretty simple, right? You definitely have to give it a try and let me know how you like it!I especially like this as a pre-workout drink during the early afternoon if I am going to be working out later in the day.
